🎓 About the Scholarship Program

The greatest barrier to continuing education is poverty. Our scholarship program currently supports 12 students with full educational scholarships, which cover:

  • Tuition and academic materials

  • Living and transportation support

  • Mentoring, workshops, and academic progress tracking

Each scholarship costs approximately $900 USD per year, and recipients are supported for at least four years, whether they are completing high school or earning a university degree.

This special fund, established by Thomas and Brenda in memory of Adrian Vandenbout, will support multiple students as it grows. Supporters will receive:

  • Annual updates about the students being supported

  • Opportunities for personal connection when visiting Oaxaca
